Who actually leaves. The rank is the share of undergraduates who study abroad, from IIE Open Doors study-abroad students divided by undergraduate enrollment, averaged over 2023/24 and 2022/23 where a college is listed in both years. Open Doors publishes only its leaders, the top 40 of each institutional type by participation and by head count, so this is the league of colleges that make a list in 2021/22, 2022/23 or 2023/24. Alongside: Fulbright U.S. Student grants over 2021-22 to 2025-26 from the Fulbright Program's top-producing institutions, and American Rhodes and Marshall Scholars in the classes of 2021 to 2026, each as a yearly rate per 1,000 bachelor's degrees because the counts are small.
